HET is a London-based artist working with reclaimed and unconventional materials to create abstract, wall-mounted works. The practice is grounded in intuition, play, and transformation — exploring the space between the known and the unknown, the conscious and the unconscious.
Using a deliberately limited palette of black, blue, and metallic materials, HET constructs layered surfaces that respond to light. Subtle textures, reflective shifts, and structural restraint invite introspective attention and open interpretation.
Real-time photographic notes are also created as part of the work — a way to cultivate awareness and appreciation for the overlooked, altered only through minimal cropping.
Work has been shown in group exhibitions across London, in galleries and alternative spaces including the OXO Tower (The Barge House), The Crypt at St. Pancras Parish Church, R.K. Burt Gallery, Angus Hughes Gallery, Toriano Meeting House, The Arts Club, Vertigo Gallery, Apthorp Gallery at Arts Depot, Menier Gallery, Pop Up Gallery, Nolias Gallery, The Forge (Isle of Dogs), and XYZ Arts Culture Community, London.
Solo exhibitions include Baynes and Mitchell Architects and Chapman Associates in London, and The Milano Gallery in Warsaw, Poland.
HET’s work is in private collections in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, and Brazil.
An MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, informs the practice’s ongoing development.
